1. About BowlBrowser

BowlBrowser is a UK-focused pet food comparison service that helps dog and cat owners browse and compare products from third-party retailers.

BowlBrowser is free to use. When you choose a product or service, you may be directed to a third-party retailer or provider to continue your purchase or enquiry.

BowlBrowser does not process payments, fulfil orders or manage retailer accounts.

2. Information BowlBrowser collects

BowlBrowser does not routinely collect personal information from visitors.

You do not need to create an account, sign in or provide your name, email address, postal address or other personal details to use the website.

BowlBrowser does not maintain a central database of pet profiles or saved products.

3. Pet profiles and saved products

Pet profiles, preferences and liked or saved products may be stored locally within your browser or device. This information is not uploaded to BowlBrowser or stored in a BowlBrowser user account.

Your locally stored information may remain available until you:

• delete the relevant pet profile or saved information;
• clear your browser or BowlBrowser site data;
• use a private or incognito browsing session; or
• your browser removes locally stored data.

BowlBrowser may request persistent browser storage to reduce the likelihood of this information being automatically removed when storage space is limited. Your browser ultimately controls whether persistent storage is granted and how locally stored information is managed.

4. Contacting BowlBrowser

If you contact BowlBrowser by email, you will voluntarily provide information such as your email address and anything included in your message. We will use that information only as reasonably necessary to read, respond to and deal with your enquiry.

You can also contact BowlBrowser through our official social media channels linked from the website. Information sent through a social media platform is also subject to that platform's own privacy practices and terms.

BowlBrowser does not operate a mailing list or newsletter and does not collect email addresses for marketing purposes.

5. Analytics and tracking

BowlBrowser uses cookie-free Cloudflare Insights to understand aggregate website traffic, including page views, referral sources, visits, page engagement and bounce rates. Google Analytics is available only if you explicitly opt in to optional analytics through Cookie Settings.

Google Tag Manager loads and Google Analytics storage is granted only after that explicit opt-in. BowlBrowser stores your analytics preference locally in your browser so it can remember your choice. If you do not opt in, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics do not load. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation remain denied whether or not you opt in to analytics.

These analytics are used only to understand and improve BowlBrowser. They are not used with pet-profile information or to identify individual visitors, and BowlBrowser does not use behavioural profiling, retargeting or advertising personalisation. 6. Affiliate links and tracking

Some links on BowlBrowser may be affiliate links. This means BowlBrowser may receive a commission if you visit a third-party website through one of these links and complete a qualifying action or purchase.

An affiliate link may contain a tracking code or identifier that allows a retailer or affiliate network to recognise that a visit originated from BowlBrowser. BowlBrowser does not add your name, email address, pet profile information or other personal information to these affiliate links.

Any information subsequently collected by the retailer, provider or affiliate network is handled under that organisation's own privacy policy.

7. Third-party retailers and providers

BowlBrowser links to independent retailers and service providers. When you leave BowlBrowser and visit one of these websites, that third party may collect information from you in accordance with its own privacy policy.

This may include information required to:

• create an account;
• process a payment;
• complete an order;
• arrange delivery;
• provide insurance or another service; or
• respond to an enquiry.

BowlBrowser does not control how third-party websites collect or use information. You should review the privacy policy of the relevant retailer or provider before providing personal information.

8. Payments and orders

BowlBrowser does not collect or process payment card information. Purchases are completed directly with the relevant retailer or provider.

Payment information, delivery details, account information and other information required to complete a transaction are therefore provided directly to that third party rather than to BowlBrowser.

9. Children's privacy

BowlBrowser does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because BowlBrowser does not require an account or personal information to browse the service, visitors should not need to provide personal information in order to use its comparison features.

10. Sharing personal information

BowlBrowser does not sell personal information. Because BowlBrowser does not routinely collect personal information from visitors, there is generally no visitor database for BowlBrowser to sell, rent or share.

Information voluntarily provided when contacting BowlBrowser may only be used or disclosed where reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry, comply with the law or protect legitimate legal rights.

11. International services

BowlBrowser is intended for users looking for products and services available in the United Kingdom. Some third-party technology providers, retailers, affiliate networks or social media platforms may operate internationally.

Where you interact directly with those organisations, their own privacy policies govern how they process your information.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights concerning personal information held about you. Because BowlBrowser does not maintain user accounts or a central database of visitor profiles, BowlBrowser will generally hold very little or no personal information about an ordinary website visitor.
